Infrastructure
The Materials used for manufacturing bearing rings are Alloy Steel, 52100 grade and are procured from the Steel Plant approved (ISMT, KALYANI & BHUSHAN). We have state of the art, Metallurgical testing lab to carry out all kind of inspection of the materials received through the above Plant to ensure the desired quality and consistency we keep track of each and every lot of steel received at our end.
Forging Process
All forging press lines are highly flexible, which gives the company the inherent advantage to simultaneously meet different customer demands and optimize capacity utilization. Forging is the process of converting the round bar raw material into the desired shape and size to make the parts as per the specified drawings of the client. The hot cut pieces are pressed, punched and pierced to put through rolling into the required size.
Computerized Pit Type Electric Annealing Furnace
Spheroidize annealing is processed to improve machinability of hypereutectoid steel. This process will produce a spheroidal or globular form of carbide in a ferritic matrix which makes the machining easy. The process is called Spheroidizing. The benefits of a Spherodize annealing are: Improved ductility, Removal of residual stresses that result from cold working or machining, Grain refinement. Annealing reduces the hardness; yield strength and tensile strength of the steel.
CNC (Computer Numerical Controlled) Machining
CNC Turning machines to maintain quality, accuracy and productivity and also offer turning as per customer’s requirement to give better turned size rings in close tolerance.
Quality – Physical Inspection
Inspections of pre-turned races are randomly and continuous dimension inspection is done during turning process. 100% Crack Detection testing, 100% Visual inspection for dent, forging sports, rust & Burr of turned races is done.
Quality Laboratory Inspection
Shingadia Industries strives continuously to improve its Quality standards to satisfy the need & expectations of the customers by establishing effective process control & Prevention Techniques and by supplying quality assured goods on time. The tests are conducted as per I.S. & A.S.T.M. standards in the Laboratory, such as Chemical Composition, Inclusion Rating, Carbide, Grain Size and other tests.
